A complete set of handcrafted Staunton chess pieces in solid boxwood and acacia. The pieces feature a 95 mm king, a classic German-style knight and proportions suitable for tournament chess.
The light wood is boxwood, the dark acacia. Both selected for their structure, durability and expression. Each piece is weighted and felt-covered, so they stand stable and feel real. The jumper is carved by hand and takes up to two hours to shape, emphasizing the craftsmanship behind it.
The set is ideal for boards with a field size of 60 mm – for example, Norwald's large chessboard.
